WHERE

Chicago Public Library - Chinatown Branch [info]

2353 S. Wentworth Avenue

Chicago, IL 60616

It is within walking distance from ALA’s facility McCormick (Address: McCormick Place, 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, Illinois 60616).

McCormick is a huge complex. Its west gate is closer to Chinatown branch. It's about 15-20 minutes walk. It seems the quickest way from McCormick to the Branch is walk along E Cermak. E Cermak will change to W Cermak. If you start from S. Indiana Avenue, you will pass about 6-7 blocks and see S Wentworth Avenue on your left hand. Turn to the Avenue and pass about 4 blocks, you will reach the meeting place.

To get driving, walking and public transit directions from McCormick to Chicago Public Library - Chinatown Branch, click here.

Then click #8 from the left menu. It will bring you to the online map for driving direction.

On top of the left column, there is a drop down menu, which allows you to select "by car," "walking" or "public transit."

It is about 2 miles and 5 minutes drive.
